Hazel: The Deluna Color Story
Hazel is a classic warm honey-brown with subtle golden tones. This color warms and brightens dark eyes beautifully. It is one of the most versatile shades in the Deluna D collection. The D14.50 diameter adds slight enlargement. This makes your eyes appear a bit bigger and more defined. This Hazel shade flatters all eye colors and warm to medium skin tones.
D14.50, 40% H2O Polyhema: The Specs in Plain Words
The D14.50 diameter is slightly larger than the average iris. It adds a subtle but noticeable enlargement to your eyes. The BC 8.60 base curve is a standard fit. It comfortably suits most eye shapes. The 40% H2O Polyhema material provides moderate hydration. This material is durable for monthly wear. Polyhema is a reliable lens material. It has been used safely in monthly lenses for many years. Plano means these lenses have zero power. They are for cosmetic color enhancement only. No vision correction is included.
Monthly Disposable: Your 30-Day Care Schedule
These lenses are monthly disposables. Replace them after 30 days of wear. Keep track of the days you wear them, not just calendar days. Every night, you must remove, clean, and store your lenses properly. Rub and rinse them thoroughly with multipurpose lens solution. Then, store them in a clean lens case filled with fresh multipurpose solution. Never use tap water, saliva, or plain saline solution. These can contaminate your lenses and cause serious eye infections. Empty and refill your lens case with fresh solution every night. Do not simply add more solution to the old solution. To keep track, mark the start date on the lens box. This will help you remember when to replace them.
How to Insert and Remove Safely
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Dry them completely with a clean towel. This prevents bacteria from getting into your eye.
- Place the lens on your index fingertip. Make sure it is bowl-side up. Check that the edges curve upwards. If the edges flare out, the lens is inside out.
- Hold your upper eyelid up and your lower eyelid down with your free hand. This keeps you from blinking during insertion.
- Look straight ahead or slightly up. Gently place the lens directly onto your iris. Then, blink slowly to settle the lens.
- To remove the lens, look up. Touch the lower edge of the lens with a clean fingertip. Slide it down to the white of your eye. Then, gently pinch it off.
If the lens feels uncomfortable after insertion, remove it. Rinse it with multipurpose solution and reinsert it. Never try to force a lens out of a dry eye. Add rewetting drops, wait 30 seconds, and then remove it.
